Meet the Artist

Surrender, Then
Create.

Jahnette Tucker is a multidisciplinary artist and spoken word poet whose work lives at the intersection of faith, beauty, and raw human experience. Working primarily in mixed media oil painting and original spoken word, she has dedicated her creative practice to a single purpose: to become a vessel for God's voice in the world.

Raised with a deep sensitivity to the spiritual dimensions of everyday life, Jahnette encountered art not as self-expression, but as surrender. The canvas became a place not to assert her own vision, but to quiet it — and listen for something greater.

Her originals have found homes with collectors who recognize in them what words struggle to hold: the weight of grace, the texture of belief, the wild beauty of a life given over.

"Bring order to the chaos. Stick with me as I do my best to reveal the mystery provided to everyone through Jesus." — Jahnette Tucker

The Word

When the
Brush Isn't Enough.

Some truths resist the canvas. They demand breath, rhythm, and the full weight of a human voice. This is where Jahnette's spoken word practice was born — not as a separate pursuit, but as a natural extension of the same calling.

Her spoken word works — including Her Name is Anxiety, My Proposal, and Hold the Press — move between lament and praise, between raw confession and quiet wonder. They are an invitation to encounter God's message in unexpected and transformative ways.
